Psoriasis - Causes,Symptoms,Treatment and how to control

Psoriasis

Causes of Psoriasis

When you have psoriasis, your immune system is overactive. This creates inflammation inside the body,

which is a cause of the symptoms you see on the skin.

More healthy cells are produced than normal. Those excess cells get pushed to the surface

of your skin too quickly. Normally, it takes about a month for your skin cells to

cycle through your body. With psoriasis, it takes days.Your body simply can’t shed

skin cells that quickly, so the cells build up on the surface of your skin.

The thick, red patches you see on your skin (called plaques) are actually a buildup of excess skin cells.

Symptoms

whitish-silver scales or plaques on the red patches

Red, raised, inflamed patches of skin

dry skin that may crack and bleed

soreness around patches

itching and burning sensations around patches

thick, pitted nails

painful, swollen joints

Psoriasis isn’t contagious. You can’t pass the skin condition from one person to another.

Touching a psoriatic lesion on another person won’t cause you to develop the condition.

Malaria - Causes, Symptoms and how to prevent

Malaria   Causes,Symptoms and how to prevent

Malaria is a disease caused by a parasite, transmitted by the bite of infected mosquitoes.

Mosquito transmission cycle

1.A mosquito becomes infected by feeding on a person who has malaria.

2.If you're the next person this mosquito bites, it can transmit malaria parasites to you.

3.The parasites then travel to your liver — where some types can lie dormant for as long as a year.

4.When the parasites mature, they leave the liver and infect your red blood cells.

This is when people typically develop malaria symptoms.

Symptoms

Moderate to severe shaking chills

High fever

Sweating

Other signs and symptoms may include:

Headache

Vomiting

Diarrhea

Reducing exposure to mosquitoes

Spraying your home.

Sleeping under a net.
